This years main theme is Teaching in practice - lecture, flexible and in between?

The conference is open to all teachers, pedagogical leaders- and staff with educational administrative functions at Umeå University. We especially welcome participatory presentations and contributions presented together with students. You are welcome to present both in Swedish and English.

Conference sub themes

Work-integrated learning

Under this theme we welcome contributions that illustrate and/or problematize students' development into a profession, or different ways to integrate academic training with workplace experience..

Assessment

Under this theme we welcome contributions that for example relates to qualitative assessments, assessment criteria, peer feedback, progression, collaborative/team assessment or clinical assessment..

Internationalization

Under this theme we welcome contributions that concern how we can make higher education international, how to create opportunities and incitements for exchanges and how to make use of student’s and teacher’s different competences and experiences.

Academic teaching

Under this theme we welcome contributions that relate to the teacher role in higher education; for example collegiality, student cooperation, professional development, pedagogical development projects, making teaching competence available for peer review, and strategic pedagogical leadership.

E-learning

Under this theme we welcome contributions that address the on-going digitalization of higher education, challenges and opportunities with e-learning in different forms, and pedagogical strategies or experiences of e-learning in different settings.
